Bought this as a first skateboard for my 7 y.o. daughter. The board won't turn, so had to buy additional parts (bushing) for $10 at the specialized shop to fix that problem. After that - no issues, the board was easy enough for her to steer.

To sum: very basic beginner board, cheap, isn't meant to last long, but works great if you don't want to invest $100+ in the first board for your child.

UPDATE: after a few months of using the board, in addition to replacing the bushings mentioned earlier, we bought the new bearings (for $12) to significantly improve how the board rolls. The old bearings started to make noises when the board moved.
