Women's Microfiber Winter Ski Gloves - Black - Large Review

I don't write many reviews, but I thought I should share my impression of these gloves because I had a different experience from the 4- and 5-star reviews here. The problem with these gloves is the outside, not the inside.
It seems as though the makers were too lazy or too cheap to properly measure out the right amount of material for the outside layer, so there are little bunches of cloth along the seam lines of stitching, which seem like they will tear very easily if you move the fingers around too widely (which I want to be able to do without worrying). In fact, there was already a tear where the sewing had broken on the back of the right hand middle finger. Also, when I put them on, the poor sewing makes my hand look like the hand of a cartoon character who had their fingers slammed in a piano lid, they're all crooked, which I've never seen in other gloves. There are also little extra lengths of thread hanging out in some places, which bother me.
The good side of these gloves is that they are very warm and comfortable on the inside. I should say that they seem warm at least, because I haven't tried them in the snow yet, because I plan on returning them. At first it seems as though there is an extra inch of room at the tip of the fingers where the inside layer is shorter than the outside layer, but if you wriggle your fingers around enough, they will reach the end of the outside layer. The color is also really nice.
BOTTOM LINE: The inside is so nice and comfortable that I'm tempted to keep these, but since Amazon makes returns so easy and convenient, I'm thinking about if it's worth the mailing cost of returning them. If you will be bothered by the stitching flaws I mentioned above, I wouldn't recommend these. But if you can deal with it, they are at a low price, and will definitely keep your fingers toasty, at least as long as the stitching holds.
