Tilt-To-Turn

The Kixi Scribble features our patented “Tilt-To-Turn” feature that helps youngsters learn how to steer. The intuitive Tilt-To-Turn system helps kids quickly get a feel for the relationship between tilting and steering by gently curving left and right and limiting the turning angle to prevent sharp turns that could cause falls. This helps kids quickly develop the steering skills and confidence to move on to the standard handlebar based steering of scooters or bikes.

Refillable Fun

With its refillable chalk bar, the Kixi Scribble invites little ones to cruise the sidewalk and color it at the same time. When it’s time to ride, parents lock the chalk feature into place to allow little ones to leave their mark as they ride. Razor Kixi Scribble Scooter Review

I purchased the scooter at Target this weekend for $17 (half off) without knowing anything about it. It was fairly easy to put together and my 4 year old nephew got the hang of it quickly. The previous reviewer mentioned deciding about 2 wheels in front or back. There isn't that option. The way this scooter is made, the front has two wheels and the back one wheel. The chalk feature adds to the "cool factor" but it only comes with 4 pieces of chalk. Our first time out we used over half of two pieces of chalk (about 10-15 minutes of play). I don't think regular sidewalk chalk will work. The chalk that comes with the scooter has grooves that fit into the springs for the chalk. I went to the website today to order more chalk. Replacement chalk comes in 6 pieces per pkg for $4.99. I ordered 3 pkgs. Total with shipping cost nearly $30!! The scooter doesn't seem like it will have a long life -- cheap plastic wheels. Hopefully, it will last the life of at least the replacement chalk. (He did enjoy the scooter, however!)
