White Sierra Women's Slider 31-Inch Inseam Snow Pant (Black, Small) Review

I bought these pants for a weekend ski trip (I've never skied and didn't have any gear). They were excellent: warm, dry, well-fitting after I adjusted the velcro-and-elastic internal waistband, and didn't rip even after some truly spectacular wipeouts on the mountain. 2 zippered hip pockets kept my phone, camera and sunglasses dry and unbroken throughout the day. Elastic on the bottom of the leg lining kept snow out of my boots and the fleecy internal fabric. I actually looked like a real skier/snowboarder despite my absolute lack of ability! For sizing purposes: I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, and ordered the Medium (all that was in stock): it fit fine, especially after adjusting the waistband, though I probably could have done with a Small or the 29" inseam version. I wore yoga pants underneath and was warm all day. Overall a great price for a product I'll use throughout the winter here in the Northeast!

A great suit at a great price. Not many chest entry wetsuits at this price point. 161.00 total cost. Have taken it out twice now in 56 degree waters of the bay area. Very flexible yet kept me warm. I noticed they reinforced the neck line where previous superfreak this was a weak point that would tear over time. Can't go wrong with this one.

Like the other reviewers have stated (I'll definitely read these next time before purchasing, btw), the bodice is way too short. I'm a fairly standard XL, and these will not work for me. I can't imagine this garment was fitted on a human body, because the side panels top out 5 or more inches below the waistline. I don't expect snow bibs to be pretty, but these aren't even functional. Giro Nine.10 Snow Helmet (Matte Tank Offset, Medium) Review

We only hear about the celebrities that have serious accidents because they fall without a helmet. There are thousands a year in the USA alone.

Initially, I thought it would be intrusive and cumbersome, but this style actually allows me to have a wide view as much as without a helmet. It also easily allows for your goggles. The fit is snug and weighs about the same as a bike helmet. Giro has a neat 'felt vent plus system' that detaches from the inside of the helmet. It's an ingenious 'weather strip vent shield' that prevents wind from getting into your helmet, thus freezing your head. But if the weather is warm, you can take the interior skin off and still have great protection.

Sizes should be tried on before you purchase a helmet, but using a size large, I found it very easy to adjust the circumference strap by dialing the knob in the back in one direction until it felt snug. I could do this with the helmet on and the knob is in the back. The entire interior strap with felt vent coverings can be unsnapped. The chin strap and the ear coverings are built in, but they provide for a nearly unnoticeable fit and the ear coverings keep your ears warm. That is a huge plus. The chin strap is very easy to adjust and snap on and is covered with a soft felt that dries out quickly. The ear pads are actually vented but for warmth so your hearing is not affected at all.

I would suggest shopping around for your style, color and fit to be sure and never buy a used helmet. They can be cracked and worthless. This is a top rated helmet so remember that you always get what you pay for and your head is the most important part of your body. Great Skiing to everyone!
