These knee gaskets do work well and keep my knee pads in place. I find they run small in comparison to other brands, but my major complaint is that the metal bracing/boning keeps ripping through the fabric on the side. I've tried re-sewing them and I just get new holes. Duct tape is the only thing holding my gaskets together anymore. I've only had them for about three months and I skate twice a week. It seems a little soon for them to be falling apart.
