Xp Cc White 55-60 Cm Review

I use this helmet on my daily commute to and from work. The Uvex XP 100 is super light and comfortable.
I was a bit concerned at first that a universal fit helmet may be a little uncomfortable because universal fit doesn't always mean it will fit you, but I was pretty impressed with how the helmet fits. There are several adjustments that can be made to the inside of the helmet to get it to sit on your head the way you want it to. I cant complain about the fit. I was unable to try this helmet on before I made the purchase but am very satisified and feel that I made the right choice over all the other helmets that I was able to try on.
Uvex helmets use a button and ratcheting system to secure the helmet under your chin, which is different from most of the other helmet systems out there, but it works good, and allows another level of adjustment.
I cant really tell if the helmet is any more or less "airy" than my old Bell, because I wear a head cap under the helmet so I cant speak to how well the helmet vents, but I dont feel that my head heats up any more or less than it did under my old helmet.
The visor is removable but works very well to keep the sun out of my eyes.
The only other thing that I can think of to comment on is how the helmet looks on my head. Looks good. Not a big bulbous helmet that makes you look like a mushroom. Big difference from my old Bell.
Since I have been fortunate not to have taken a spill, I cannot comment on how well it will protect your head in a crash. I hope I never get the chance to test the most important feature of a helmet but feel confident that it will do the job its intended to do.
The only con that I can think of is the padding inside the helmet. It is a little rough on my forehead. I imagine that with more ride time the material will start to soften up. I wear a head cap under the helmet which helps with the rough padding on my forehead.
Overall I am very impressed and satisfied with my purchase. The fit and finish is great, other than the padding, and there is good adjustability. If you want a light weight helmet that isnt racing specific, I dont think you can go wrong with this one.

Spy Optic Marshall Goggles (Acid Reign, Persimmon Contact) Review

These goggles are great - zero fogging, and they look incredible. Very comfortable and offer great visibility
They do show some scratches.
Definitely the best pair of ski goggles I've owned.
My one complaint is that the band is rather short, don't expect to wear these easily over a helmet. Overall, this isn't a serious problem, I just wear the band under my helmet, and they do make extension converters that allow you to widen the strap. Just something to be aware of when considering these for use with a helmet
