First off, It does not come with grip tape. Second, It's shape is exactly like an older Plan B. I was worried about it being like one of the complete deck but this is literally the best skateboard I've ever owned. Plus, it's made in America. So, you know it's strong, & durable. There have been no real problems, It could be a little longer. 32 inches would be better than 31.5. But, nothing major. I made pressure cracks on this board by barely putting the trucks on and skating to try it out. But that was completely my fault. I would recommend riser pads or shock pads to prolong the life of the deck. I would highly recommend this this skateboard for anyone of any skill level. This might be the only deck I ever buy again!
