A rear strap allows even more lighting to be added by simply clipping on a rear flasher, while a sleek, seamless perch built into the new Blade Visor Plus accommodates the diminutive but bright Blackburn Front Flea light, strap adjustments and sizing are nearly automatic thanks to the helmet's OneStep plus fit system that - after a couple quick out-of-the-box adjustments - snugs to a custom fit every time you ride. Carrying over from its predecessors, the Metropolis and Citi, is the Flip Mirror - a super adjustable mirror that clips to special grooves in the visor and stows away neatly when not in use. This helmet is great!

I have long sworn by Bell helmets. My brother went over his handlebars, and struck the back of his head on curbing, but his Bell helmet saved him from injury, maybe worse. Ever since I have always been conscious of what helmet is worn by me and my family. When my wife's Giro was needing replacement. I looked for a helmet that would be comfortable as well as safe, without breaking the bank. The fit of this helmet looks easy to adjust as it is all done at the strap under the chin. Also, it feels relatively light, considering it is not a racing helmet. We really liked the red flashing rear lights and the mounts for others if desired. The idea of having lights that are visible above cars is really a great idea for rider safety.

All in all, Bell did their homework on this helmet, as usual. I would have no problem recommending it to anyone in need of a good helmet.

The trick with helmets is that in order to be safe, they need to be worn. For that to happen, the wearer has to like it. She likes it because it is light, cute and comfortable. I like it because she is safe in a Bell.
