I have had the skullcandy pipe speaker dock for a couple of years. Although it has treated me well, i decided that it was time for a nice upgrade. Being a huge fan of the company's lifetime warranty, it didn't seem that bad to shed some money into this speaker dock. Let's start with the basics.

Style:(10/10)
By oh golly this has to be a perfect 10 in terms of looks. I don't care if you see other speaker with "curved designs', and "strategically placed woofers", this takes the cake. It feels like a collectible item and the size itself tells you that it will shatter every window in your house. Speaking of sound, let's look into that as well.

Sound:(9/10)
You know you have a good speaker dock if the bass doesn't drown out the treble and the sound doesn't distort. This Vandal can get so loud that i almost got called by the cops cause of noise complaint. I don't consider it "noise". On the contrary, it feels like a home theater system that can be carried with you . The bass and treble can also be adjusted so the type of genre you are listening to will be at its finest. This speaker has some of the richest bass response i have had in speakers, from bose,phillips,sony, and the treble is also highly ranked. Bass is 10/10 while treble is 8/10.

Portability:(6/10)
It is on the border line of whether it is a good idea to carry this with you anywhere. It is on the heavier side so it is safer to keep it inside where it is nice and cozy. However, the nice rectangular-curved design will make it easier for people to store in their backpacks and suitcases, but isn't recommended.

Overall, this has to be one of the finest products that skullcandy has ever made; making it in the same prestige as the sk pros and the aviators. It will definitely entertain a small crowd and will fill your entire house with booming,thumping,electrifying awesomness.
