The original Lifa baselayers were extremely tough and effective. I still have many of the first that I bought in the 80's. Yes, I have used them every winter and part of the summer since then. The only reason for buying more is damage from abrasion from leg movement and arm swing. The new Helly Hansen is softer and thicker than the originals. Softness was never a complaint for me. The thicker mesh of the new model does not vent as well, but still does a fine job of wicking moisture. My main complaint is the new waist band. The elastic tends to roll and twist. The old style never had that problem.

I loved the look of this hat on amazon...asked for it for Christmas, was super excited to get it. I put it on and..yuck! The side with the 2 big buttons is totally bulky and sticks out from the side of your head about 2 inches more than the other side. It's like they didn't account for the extra material underneath when they cinched it...it looks totally lame. I was so surprised since it had great reviews. Rollerblade Women's Spark 84 Fitness Skate, Black/Green, 7 Review

I buy one pair of new rollerblades a year, putting about seven miles on them six days a week in the spring/summer/fall months (northern Illinois weather permitting). This is my second pair of Rollerblade brand (I used to buy K2). These are decent blades, but I think I prefer my K2's the more and more that I use these. My one huge problem is that I ordered these on 6/17/13 and today, 7/2/13, I was not able to rollerblade this morning because the brake is already completely gone down to the screw that holds it in. I have never had a brake not last at least a couple of months. The brake was so dry that I'm guessing it had to sit around on the shelf for who knows how long. I just hope this isn't any indication of how long the wheels will last for.

My son has been wanting a quality scooter for a long time. We have been searching for one that is affordable but will out perform the Razor Ultrapro. He says it has great wheels that absorb the impact when he jumps and have more "bounce" to them for jumping...."it doesn't hurt my hands any more" he says. He also likes the wide deck "it does a nice tail whip". It's very quiet, no rattles, and has a smooth ride. The only part he doesn't like is it has no break. The fin over the back tire appears to be only a wheel guard. Overall he is very pleased with this scooter!!! Going to the skate park tomorrow.

25 yrs of competitive mtb...I race both shimano and sram cassettes - for the life of me I can't tell the difference in terms of function and wear. I ride big ring 95% of the time and I'll replace my 44t 3 times for every one of these which I seem to replace about every 2500 mtb miles. Even though its old school @ 9s these days I still think it's pretty!
