This is not for professional ice climbing! it is great for walking around in the winter ( specially if you have a lot of black ice in your area ) , it also works for moderate hiking on ice and snow though nothing too steep.

Other than that, this is a really cool design, only used it twice and for the price it is totally worth it. Though it stinks like hell! it took 2 to 3 days before the plastic smell was gone. I'm also worried that the plastic rim which holds the chain around your boot may not last very long. however if that happens I will switch it with a wire cable. So far looks good.
