Rollerblade Women's Spark 84 Fitness Skate, Black/Green, 7 Review

I buy one pair of new rollerblades a year, putting about seven miles on them six days a week in the spring/summer/fall months (northern Illinois weather permitting). This is my second pair of Rollerblade brand (I used to buy K2). These are decent blades, but I think I prefer my K2's the more and more that I use these. My one huge problem is that I ordered these on 6/17/13 and today, 7/2/13, I was not able to rollerblade this morning because the brake is already completely gone down to the screw that holds it in. I have never had a brake not last at least a couple of months. The brake was so dry that I'm guessing it had to sit around on the shelf for who knows how long. I just hope this isn't any indication of how long the wheels will last for.
