being 6'4" these run long so no complaints about the length. The fleece has kept me comfy and warm while taking the dog for a long walk when the weather's been in the 20's to the windy 50's or just running errands around town on a cold day. The pocket's are not very deep so keys, wallet, and cell phone will start to feel crowded. Overall for the price I'd day these are well worth it.

i love the helmet. i think the main concern of the helmet is ventilation and there's enough even on very hot days. yes, some sweat will drip down from my head to my cheeks, but it's not a major thing. i had issue recently wear my shades would fog up, but i think that was more to do with how humid it was that day.

I like the hat, but it does have some bad points. The linning is super cheap and thin. Its actually a bit itchy and the knitted part is not. So i would be happy with no linning at all. One of the flowers came off the same day i got it in the mail,but that is easily sewn back on.Really not bad for the price. I havent worn it out,will see if the linning is bareable.

I've been a skier for over 40 years, and grew up not wearing a helmet except for GS or Downhill racing where it was required.
Both of my teenage daughters grew up with helmets for both skiing and snowboarding and have been bugging me for years
about not wearing one. Every season I've tried them on at the shops but never found one that I could tolerate till now.
As soon as I put on the Giro Montane I could appreciate that this one was really different. Lighter, better fitting and more comfortable and adjustable than any other helmet I'd tried in the past. Now that I've skied in it I like it even more than my old moth eaten pom-pom ski hat. I also appreciate how easy it is to regulate your temperature as well with the nifty slide vent on top.

I use them in my ski boots...womens size 8. They dry the boots great in just a few hours. However when I removed the dryer it broke in two pieces and the wire between the two pieces broke. I then had to use the remaining dryer in both boots alternating them after a few hours. I was then very careful removing the dryer from the boot but oops the second one broke also. This time I carefully removed the two pieces without breaking the wire and was able to repair it myself. PEET has a stated they will repair or replace the broken part.
