I got these for my 8 year old son who normally wears a size 8 in jeans. He's on the smaller side of a size 8 but a tad too big for 7's. These snow pants were way too big. I ordered the medium in these and I'm pretty sure he would fit in a small or who knows - maybe even an x-small! They are not fleece lined nor do they have an adjustable waist which probably would have helped them fit better. I haven't decided if I will return them or just keep them until he's bigger. Other than that, they are nicely made and seem like they would hold up well. They seem like they would be very warm as they are pretty thick. They're nice for the price - just too big.
