The item came in a nice Fox Rampage box. The helmet is also inside a nice vinyl cover/bag. The fit (I got large) is tight at first but not too tight. After several off and on wearing, it feels snugly tight, just right. Make sure that before you buy from Amazon, you go to their website and confirm the proper size for you. They have a chart/link that will help you select the right fit for your head. The quality of the outer shell looks great as well as the interior padding. It has enough vents to keep your head cool. The interior paddings are removable so you can wash them. I like the space/gap on the mouth area so I can still use a hydration pack and sip without removing the helmet. I am also able to attach one of Contour camera's helmet mount kit. I will be using this helmet this weekend in Big Bear, CA for some downhill mountain biking. Overall, highly recommended.
