I am a bit of a shoe collector so for the time being I dont plan on skating in them, however the stitching is in all the right spots to reduce damage and the vulcanized rubber is tough yet thin enough to feel the skateboard nicely when riding. very comfy, thin profile(not any heel cushining)and very stylish. looks better with shorts on than pants. My one complaint is that there about a half a size bigger than normal.
