My brothers are and are 2 years and 3 months apart between me and my oldest,and 17 months apart between me and the youngest. It was a family gift, and it was one of our favorite gifts that we got (getting a Nintendo they year they came out excluded). Roller Derby Ventura 950-ZX Men's Inline Skates (11) Review

Got this set to teach my little girl how to ride her first set of "real" rollerblades, so they will be used for light duty every other weekend. It has been over 15 years since I ridden a set of blades, so I wanted something with good wheels and bearings at a reasonable price. My experience level was advanced back in the day and I know what a good set of inline skates should be.

Quality, looks, and design is pretty good. I like the smoothness of the bearings and the sturdiness of the rail. Now, where these skates falter is in the fit and sizing. The size is one higher than what it should be. My feet are swimming in them and I have to crank on the laces and strap in order to use them.

Lastly, the insole is FLAT. I am going to spend extra money for some insoles that have arch support. Kind of defeats the price if I have to spend an extra $20 to buy an arch support insole. And no, I don't have a flat foot. After a few minutes, my arches hurt and I have to stop and wait for the pain to subside.

The final question is, would I recommend this rollers? If you can try them on for size prior to buying, then yes. Otherwise, no. The bad fit prevents from any enjoyment and overshadows the design and quality.

KMC has come a long way since I was a kid when we teased that KMC stood for "K-Mart Corporation". This chain is solid and light. It also looks very cool with the drilled out plates and the chrome finish. I will say that the pins on this chain are quite difficult to punch out using the chain tool. The pins are slightly beveled on the ends, so some good force is needed. You pretty much trash the plate that you push the pin out of, so make sure you're shortening the chain in the right spot!

Teva Men's Gnarkosi Water Shoe,Neon Lime,9 M US Review

This is an excellent lightweight, well-fitting shoe that is designed for getting your feet wet. I got them for ocean kayaking, and generally going in and out of the water. The water channels work. Step out of the water, and you feel the water draining out of the shoes in a second or two. They go from weighing a ton soaking wet (like any shoe), to being super light again. Very neat. I'm hard-pressed to say they weigh any more wet, than dry.
I'm also impressed with the fit. Most shoes at this price, don't have a lot of support going on. These work really well, at least on my feet, and they're a joy even for longer walks.

Half Face Masks-Half Ear Review

I bought this for biking to work, but found it completely unsuitable for this use until I modified it with scissors. The tiny pinholes for the mouth are completely inadequate if you are breathing hard from exercise, as is the small nose hole - I felt as though I was suffocating and had to take it off! To make matters worse, I wear glasses, and my breath, having nowhere else to go, was forced out through the top, fogging and frosting my glasses to the point of blindness.

All these problems were solved after I took a pair of scissors and cut out a large hole for my mouth and a smaller one for my nose. Now I can breath, the fogging is cured, and the mask is suitable for biking, keeping my face warm. I like the fact that the mask attaches easily, with velcro in the back. I recommend fastening the straps high, above the hairline, rather than around the neck, to avoid the mask riding down your face as you bike.
