Bought these for future use in some 3-Gun events. Let me start by saying the actual quality of these elbow pads is very good. They are lined with a Coolmax lining and a non-slip rubber pad to grip your clothing or skin better so they stay put. My big issue with these are that the neoprene straps that velcro together to hold them on your arm are very narrow, so if you tighten them enough to stay put they tend to dig into your arms a bit.

Even after only a few minutes of wearing them, I felt like they were restricting blood flow. I used to have an old pair of Protec elbow pads with two straps that were much wider (probably 4 times as wide) that I used to wear creeking. I don't ever remember them feeling uncomfortable or restricting blood flow and I'd have them on for hours at a time.

My other issue is that the outer plastic shell comes to a pretty sharp point, so when I lay down and prop up on my elbows it's not very stable. Obviously I could see they had a point to them in the pictures, but I didn't realize how much it would affect stability. A nice, round surface would be better suited I think. I have this same issue with the Hatch XTAK Knee pads).

I'm only knocking stars off for the straps however, as the pointed outer shell is only a downside because of the application I was using them in, and that's not necessarily their intended use.
