I used these for a woodworking project. They were put at the four corners of wooden boxes/drawers that are now being used for under-bed storage. I made housing assemblies out of wood and embedded them in the four corners, leaving about 1/2" of each wheel showing below the bottom edge. This larger size made it all possible. A 1/4" bolt worked perfectly as an axle. These wheel assemblies were absolutely essential to a successful project.
