I used to play hockey for about 11 years and rollerbladed everywhere in summers, so I have a lot of time on blades. Its been a while since I've last put any on and wanted to start a different work out routine especially so my dog could join in. I am really impressed with the quality of these blades. For those who have reviewed this product and complained about the lacing system, I have to say it can easily be changed out with regular laces so you can cut your bloodflow off if thats your thing. Preferably, I like my laces to be loose and the only spot I want tight is the ankle which the strap for this is plenty sturdy to handle. The high ankle ratchet strap is an added benefit if you want quick adjustment on the fly. Find some smooth concrete and you'll have a good time with these blades.

One word to add here for those who are advanced bladers. These do not come with SG9 or (ABEC 9) bearings like they are advertized. They are SG7 (ABEC 7)bearings. However, they are both more than capable of high speeds if you are basing a lot of your purchasing decision on the bearings being SG9s you are in for a surprise. For reassurance, there is an orange SG7 logo on the outside toe of the chassis. Get a picture and zoom in to verify my comment.

Other than this marketing SNAFU, the blades are excellent and roll well enough with the SG7 bearings that my Border Collie has difficulty keeping up at times! Hope this review did some good as I know from my own experience there are not many out for this product.
