Please don't listen to Brian's review. The guy is obviously a poser. Let me just say this; these shoes are amazing. I've used Nike's, Vans, and other popular skate brands. Lakai has a superior quality and performance to all of these popular brands. I've been skating these shoes for almost 2 months now, and they are still in great condition. The grip is still somewhat in tact, and there are no holes or big rips. These shoes are for real skaters, no frills. If you are looking for a new shoe that performs well and lasts forever, get Lakai. Or Emerica. These are the two real 100% skate brands in my opinion. They are a snug fitting shoe and all the real skaters will nod their heads in approval when they see you are rocking some Lakai's. Plus the price is ridiculous compared to that BS like NIKE or Addidas.
